Leah co-starred and co-wrote The Dawns, a short that was directed by Corinne Fisher (“Guys We F*&@ed”) and was an Official Selection of the Broad Humor Film Festival. The short was also screened as part of the Oregon Short Film Festival, Austin Comedy Film Festival, and MNN’s Chris Gethard Presents.

Miss Conduct is a TV pilot written by Leah Bonnema about a romance novel book club. The pilot was named a finalist in the New York Television Festival/Red Arrow Pitch Series, a semifinalist of the In Roads Screenwriting Fellowship, and was one of just four scripts nominated for Best Screenplay during the Women’s Comedy Film Festival in Atlanta. Leah was also invited to read the pilot during the Creative Control Industry Reading Series at the infamous Friar’s Club.

Solving Leah is a half-hour comedic detective series that Leah wrote, starred in, and produced with Frankenmel Films. The pilot was an Official Selection of The New York Television Festival and The Portland Film Festival, and Leah is currently developing a book series adaptation.
